It may be one of the best after hour chicken spots since El Liberato in the Bronx. The chicken was tasty, and served with some of the best garlic bread and sides I've had in a while. I would love to repeat before l take off.

I suggest this place to anyone that visits Rio. The meat is the star of the show. The chicken hearts were surprisingly delicious.

The food here was extremely delicious. The restaurant is small, but don't let that deter you from getting authentic Brazilian food. The service was great, use google translate to defeat the language.. About the food,the garlic bread was f'ing amazing. Sorry that I did not take pictures of my meal. I must say after all the waking, you need a home cook meal, and I must say this place is for #foodies :Garlic Bread French Fries, BBQ Chicken (amazing) black beans, and broccoli rice :Guaraná (soda)

Top 5 best meal I've ever had. We had the galeto simple, picana simple and chicken hearts (with caipirinhas of course) and it was fantastic. Well worth the wait for a table. Do not miss!

Great authentic food. Very nice staff. Little bit of a language barrier but they were patient and we figured it it out together!!

Don't sleep on this chicken with garlic sauce . Absolutely amazing. Their meal comes w sides and their service is fast . Anthony bourdain came here and it sure did not disappoint

Certainly a good find per Anthony Bourdain. I was pleasantly surprised to learn it was near our hotel during our stay in Rio. The roasted chicken was very good and tasted like a REAL chicken vs what we get in supermarkets here in the US. They were smaller that what we see here with a little less meat, but just tasted fresher. We ordered the fried polenta which was good, but a very large serving for 1-2 people. We couldn't finish it and ended up throwing over half of it out. The rice was tasty too. Good, but I think TV made it look better than my expectations.

Tiny Churrascaria in Rio de Janerio Brazil. We went here for dinner during our last night in Brazil. It was a packed place but you could see that there were a lot of Grilled meats around. The platters were more expensive compared to other places that we had in Brazil but the meat quality was still good overall. The steak was definitely more salty but pretty tender. The other meats were decent as well.

During my stay, I went to this restaurant two times for takeout. This restaurant is busy at all times and its a local favorite at all times. The ambiance is lively and full of character/charm before a Flamengo game. I had the galeto complete which comes with farofa, rice, chicken, salad, and fries. Pro tip: Mix the farofa with the rice! The next day, I had the chicken heart and garlic bread. The food was exceptionally delicious. I appreciated the large portion sizes. Treat yourself!
